- gas bill...i dont know why,it just bothers me.

- I would have never settled for hamsters.

-one (and a half OCC in the spring semester for stupid credits that didn't really matter i.e. Government)

-Because it is my really really big necked sweater that is completely amazing.

-There is no gas in my car right now....i dont have a choice.

- back home

- Benny's first day of doggie day camp!!!

so here's the deal....matt and i bought a house and I'm so excited to get moving. we close on the 31st and i just cant wait. on the other hand, I'm not looking forward to packing unpacking. i will post pics of the house as soon as we find the cord to go from the camera to the computer. it appears to be missing. but overall, its a 3 bed. 2.5 bath fenced in backyard, and in a sub that has a pool and is literally a 10 minute walk from my school. i just cant wait for closing. my apartment is a wreak!!! we have gifts from the wedding all still in boxes because we didn't want to "ruin" them with apartment. we have basically taken everything out of every drawer and some of it is in boxes, and the rest is casually strewn about the floor. the cats on the other hand are loving all the new nooks and crannys with all of the junk everywhere. I'm so scared that we will never see our babies again in the house. there is so much space.....Emily isn't going to know what to do with herself with all of those rooms to be in. i can see Tom now, running the stairs for pleasure. I'm also just so excited for school to start, or even just pre-planning. the 4th grade team called and invited me to lunch next week. its really nice to still be "part" of their team although i ditched them for first graders. (i consider it a promotion). so i'm an adult now right? husband, house, job, bills, mortgage, pets.....scary. hope you enjoyed my little update...come to georgia and visit. help me paint :)

at work. kids are at specials. standerdized testing this week (CRCT). so sick. blew chunks this morning. (haven't done that in a really long time). wanna go home. so dizzy. (don't worry, i made matt drive this morning). nose is beginnign to become raw.

tania: no this is just telling me how to use it.... i know that! in college they give you free condoms and they were weird. by the way dont ever use a (lori is going to stop typing here because its really inn apropriate, but the rest of the story involves burning)tania continues: i can find the warnings...i just know what to do after...oh i found the warnings (long pause) he he he he he (more words Lori will not type,......infections....wash........) avoid damage to furniture......

Ok. so havent been here in a while...but maybe someone will choose to read. I have been spending the entire year teaching 4th grade in Georgia. i absolutly love it, but something was weird. 4th grade. that's the problem. i love my class (all 17 of them, how lucky am i right?), but i'm a much happier person being around the little ones. well, to get to my point. my principal (amazing man) calls me in and tells me i may be moving to 1st next year (per my request). the only cruddy thing about that is i have to leave my team of teacher (i.e. the other 4th grade teachers) they are my mother hens and i love them. i could never have asked in a million bajillion years to work with a more warm and welcoming group of teachers. even the 3rd and 5th grade teachers in my hall are fabulous. now i will have to venture down a whole nother hall and get awfully confuzzled. but i will be with the grade a wanted in the first place, so i cant really complain. (p.s. i know i am making it sound like the school is HUGE, but it really is. we have 158 just in 4th grade alone.) the wedding is coming up (june 3rd). not really scared or nervous. but that's about it. the boy and i are driving home next weekend and i can't wait (except for the stupid bridal showers)(way to mushy for me).
i will say that my favorite feeling in the world is taking those 5 extra snooze minutes in the morning and having my baby boy (don't worry...im talking about the furry one) jump on me and then plop himself down in the crook of my neck and start purrrrrrring out of control. it really made my morning that much more wonderful. (minus the out of control licking that cats are not normally known for) (shhhh don't tell Tom Collins he is not a dog, he will get offended.)
thats about it though. i would love all of you to come and visit me in Georgia. its absolutly beautiful here and the weather is starting to get really warm (84 today).

ok so i haven't done this in a while and school has started so i thought i'd give a quick update. I am here in Duluth, GA teaching 4th grade to an amazing class of only 16 students. how wonderful. I absolutly love it here. although i really really miss home. IT HASN"T SNOWED HERE!!!!!!! not happy about it. people say that id does snow once in a while.....oh well!!! i also have only met around 5 people from Georgia. I have met a lot of Michigan poeple and new york and illinois....lots of northerners. its great. matt is good as well as Tom, Emily, Cinderella, and Cederick. yes, we have a zoo! my class is slowly arriving in the room to get ready for the day so i should probally go and greet them. let me know if there is anything else you would like me to fill you in about. Oh yea!! the wedding in June 3, in Michigan. its a small wedding....mostly family.

This entry is only for the sake of Tania who belittles me on the fact that i never update. i am right now sitting in a middle school art classroom as i am subbing. the school's name is Beer Middle School. how messed up????? Beer. haha.. Tania made me go and see the gay cowboy movie the other day. and that's just what it was....a gay cowboy movie. RENT the movie comes out soon. hells yea. i mean on DVD. FEB 21!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'll deff be at Meijer on the 20th at midnight (i guess that actually makes it the 21st but whatever. ) you get the point. not much else is happeneing. subbing subbing and more subbing...with some babysitting on the side. i;m going to toronto in a few weeks 2 actually. for Les's wedding. that should be some fun. Have you ever burped a bean???? gross. i have. i dont have a job for tomorrow and at this rate i dont think that i'm going to get one either. maybe i should take a day off. blech. i hate just sitting at home alone by myself. i think that sucks. i did find out that kingdom hearts 2 comes out the first week in March. i just really dont want to spend $50 on a game that i dont have all that much time to play. Also, on that note, i am stuck on one of the bosses on Kingdom Hearts (chain of memories.) it's a really hard boss at the end of the game and he keeps breaking my cards. its the game that's inbetween one and two. so i guess it's like 1.5. it's only for GBA.(Game Boy Advanced). That about sums up all my thoughts and feelings for the time being. i think that some people are stupid and need to start at least trying to get a life. and i think that others need to find a direction. and then i think tania should stop fantisizing about Anne Hathaway's boobs. but over all,,, i think that some principal needs to stop thinking i want a long term position (which i'm more than happy to be doing) and realize that i should be actually teaching in that building.
